Printer cleaning

In general, the inkjet printer components of the all-in-one machine only require minimal maintenance. But regular cleaning can keep its appearance beautified and prevent printing problems in the future. Clean the printer casing every time the ink cartridge is replaced. Please use a damp cloth for wiping, and be careful not to let moisture enter the inside of the printer. If necessary, use a soft brush or a computer vacuum cleaner to remove lint and dust in the paper path.

Ink stains accumulated in most inkjet printers are normal and do not need to be removed (alcohol or roller cleaners may damage the printer). Scanner cleaning

    If black or white lines appear on the copies, outgoing faxes, or scanned items, the scanner should be cleaned and recalibrated.

To clean the scanner channel, follow these steps:

Disconnect the power to the device; open the document access door.

If the white strip (located on the inside of the document access door) is dirty, use a dry cotton swab to clean it. If there are still dirt or debris on the strip, use a cotton swab moistened with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the white strip. (If you use alcohol, you only need to use a very small amount of alcohol. Alcohol dripping on the internal parts of the device can damage the device.)

If the glass strip on the opposite side of the white strip is stained with dirt, use a dry cotton swab to clean it. If there are still dirt or debris on the glass strip, use a cotton swab moistened with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the glass strip.

Check each roller in the scanner for dirt or debris. Use a lint-free cloth moistened with a small amount of clean water (such as lens tissue) to clean the dirty roller.

Check whether the presser foot and presser plate are stained with dirt or debris. If the presser foot and presser plate are not clean, please use a lint-free cloth dampened with a small amount of clean water for cleaning.

Use a dry lint-free cloth to completely remove residual dirt from the roller, presser foot and presser plate horizontally.

Cartridge cleaning

Cleaning the inkjet print cartridge itself can correct the problem of missing lines or missing dots, and can eliminate streaks on the paper, thereby improving printer performance. To clean the ink cartridges, follow these steps:

Turn on the printer and lift the top cover of the printer. After the printer cartridge is moved to the center of the printer, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. Remove the ink cartridge and place it sideways on the paper.

Wet a clean cotton swab and squeeze out excess water. ; Hold the black print cartridge with the nozzle plate facing upward.

Use a cotton swab to clean the surface and edges of the print cartridge. Please do not wipe the nozzle plate.

Check if there is any residual debris on the ink cartridge. To check, bring the ink cartridge near the light and tilt the ink cartridge at an angle.

Reinstall the print cartridges, and then close the top cover of the printer. Connect the power cable, and then print a test page to ensure that the entire device is operating normally.

To avoid ink streaks, it is necessary to clean both ink cartridges. Please also note that the ink cartridge should not be left outside for more than 30 minutes, otherwise the print head will air dry and the ink cartridge cannot be used. Desktop LCD screen flipper

Cartridge alignment

Color printers use both black ink cartridges and color ink cartridges. These ink cartridges must be calibrated frequently so that the printer will drip ink correctly side by side in the text line or graphic. For the following situations, use the printer utility to align the print cartridges. The black ink in the printout is mixed with the color ink. There are small gaps between the color blocks and the black outline in the printout. The print cartridge has been removed or replaced.
